Try re-booting your router (and LMS if using it).

I am also getting this on squeezbox receiver, touch and squeezelite. Any

It seems that you have to reset the radio occasionally by pulling the
power connection. But this is made more difficult if you have
batteries because you have to disconnect the battery power too.
Another way to reset it is to hold in the main power button for a few
seconds until it says "goodbye
In messing around in the Radio diagnostic screens for another thread I
noticed it listed "nil" for IP Gateway and IP Subnet.
Wild guess is that Radio is losing contact with MySB and/or router,
reporting error "nil" (whatever the heck that means), somehow replacing
the player name with the reported
I'm a big fan of the smooth jazz artist "Nils" so it is not such a big
deal for me. ;)

Mine is "nil" as well. Don't know when did it happened. Did not cause
any problem, tho.. Things will be messed up if you have more than one
radios.

Yes, it has happened to me on occasion on the US MySB servers. I do not
use iPeng.
Must be a general system glitch. Maybe server maintenance is causing
it?

Anyone have any problems with there squeezebox radio automatically
changing it's name to "nil". I have two squeezebox radios and this
only happens to one of them. It's now happened twice over the last
