I have been having the same kinds of issues with my Radio. I ran through
all the troubleshooting steps I could find mention of or otherwise think
of. I ended up doing a reset to factory settings, then I was able to
connect using wireless right away.

You can also try to change the wireless channel that your router uses.
Consult the router's documentation to see how to do this.
If all else fails, you can use a network cable instead of wireless.
It's very much more reliable.

Yeah done the reuter plug thing a few times to no prevail. I put the
squeezebox near to my reuter earlier and it still lost connection and
that was with no laptop or phone in the room, ahh well I'm sure I'll
figure out the problem eventually

ok did a check no ip conflict, the laptop and blackberry both have
different ips, also it says the signal on my squeezebox is 83 per
cent.
Not sure exactly how to do the ping thing

The easiest way may be this:
1) Find the IP of your Radio.
2) Ping the radio (open CMD in Windows and enter "ping 111.222.333.444"
(substitute the Radio's IP address for 111.222.333.444) to confirm that
the Radio answers ping calls. There should be four pings and four
replies.
3) Turn the Radio f
SB player > Settings > player info
As for any other devices on your network like a computer how you find
out the IP varies. For Windows computers double click the icon that
shows your PC is connected to your network.

Is your Radio losing connection with router? Or just your server?
When it happens make note of the color of the WiFi icon on the Radio
screen.
Red = not connected to router
Blue = connected to router, not connected to server (SBS or MySB.com)
White = connected to server (SBS or MySB.com)

It was getting better but it loses connection after playing 5 songs or
so, thought it was a conflict with my phone but has happened when phone
wasn't in the room.
So maybe it's to with my reuter which is a linskys, is there anything i
can do with the squeezebox settings to make it more stable?
