Yeah, that could be pretty cool. Pipe TTS sound to aplay via ssh,
pause playback via CLI or Perl code if you want to only hear the TTS.

In this case doing the text-to-AIFF on the Mac is easy. So no need for
sound device kludgery.
This leaves the question of how to make SqueezeCenter play a file (that
is not in the library) and then go back to whatever it was doing.
