I would choose Radio. But don't worry too much about it. As long as you
explain the problem clearly it will get categorized correctly.

Thanks aubuti,
Do you know if I used the touch remote with the SB Radio if the number
buttons on the remote would work the six radio presets?
That would be valuable, because being across the room, it is hard to
see the SB Radio screen to know where you are navigating.

Can I ask some questions about it?

Tried another universal remote, this time from Best Buy. I had this
idea in my head that it would be really cool if the number pad worked to
go to the presets, because the actual Squeezebox remote doesn't have
that feature.
Here's what I tried.

Thanks all for the suggestions-- this is a great forum!
I went to Radio Shack and bought the cheapest remote today.

It supports JVC, but none of the JVC codes worked, nor did running

I'm a recent owner of a Squeezebox Radio, really enjoying it so far. I
bought an app for Android phones called Squeeze Commander and find it to
be an excellent remote control, especially easy to search through a
large music library, as well when I start the app it prompts to turn on
the wireless o

Yes, in two ways the num/alpha buttons help:

So the only buttons you would use on the remote are volume up and down,
power, and numbers for the presets. Just get a $5 universal remote that
supports JVC codes.

I considered sidegrading (downgrading?) to the Boom to get the remote,
