Alarm wasn't used during the weekend (thank God!) but this morning I had adjusted the alarm time to be 6:58 instead 07:00 - and the radio station played as it should. Somebody had suggested that exactly at 07:00 there might be too many Internet Radios attempting to connect to the same radio

Hi, I set the alarm on my Radio at 6:30 today 18th of January. As usual the Fallback alarm fired instead of the radio stream. Note that when I select the radio stream, for example by hitting the preset buttons - there is no problem connecting to the radio station. It usually takes just 3-4

But almost no radiostations at all start within a second ? Most buffer a while before start-up even rock solid good stations ? A station must be allowed some initial buffer time. If I take radio paradise and and a stopwatch from pressing play watching buffer fill up then audio it is 6-7

Hi, I've had the same problem with the alarm as described in this thread. I.e. in the morning my Squeezebox Radio very often uses the Fallback alarm tone instead of playing my selected internet radio stream. Only now I noticed this thread - and I have made the proposed change to the timer.
