I'd suggest the 700x50 Berthouds. They have a 700x60, also, but that
may require a more creative mounting solution. I've run 700x50 Big
Apples and 700x50 Marathon XR tires on my Atlantis with the Berthoud
700x50 fenders.

Can you post a photo? Or tell who made the guide & how it's attached? I'm

Perhaps that earlier discussion resonated with Riv.

other handsome rides well photographed.

Hi there,
There's been quite a lot of discussion about this on this group (just
search the archives), and the short answer is yes, sort of, maybe with
fenders if you have patience and are good at fiddling with things, and
don't mind just a small amount of clearance. Without fenders, no

I'm curious if anyone has any experience with the Grand Bois "Hetre"
650B x 42mm tires available on the VBQ website. Does anyone know if
you can fit these on any of the Rivendell frames? If not, any ideas
what sort of frame will take them? Many thanks.

Great video. I'm in Napa too, but I just brought a Brompton and rode
about 25 miles yesterday, cursing the bike all the way back to the

It does not look unlike the Rock Hoppers and Stump Jumpers from the

I wonder how it would do as a mountain bike. Stout tubing and upward

They look like Berthoud to me. Could be prototypes though, in the Nigel style.
