Rene,
I'll see what Michael says...but it looks like the center section of a
set of handlebars bolted to the rack.
A great idea...

Exactamundo. An old Cinelli HB for which I no longer had a matching
stem. Drill a hole, stuff wine corks in the ends and bolt it to the
bike, pop on the lights, ride away.

I got an Acorn tool bag and like it a lot. A bit bulkier than your Zugster,
with 3 compartments. Yours looks to have 2. Suits the bike.

You were not the only one. I jjust moments ago arrived at my son's home in San
Mateo for Thanksgiving feast. Rode down from my home in San Francisco via
Sawyer Camp, crystal springs, Canada Road, woodside, then down to the flats and
into San Mateo. 45 miles on the Quickbeam, now I'm ready to eat
my dad needs business PERIOD. I once suggested to Grant cheap laser
engraved headbadges for the resurrecto sets, but they dont really sell
enough to make it worthwhile.
There really isn't anything that can't be etched: leather, denim,
canvas, anodized aluminum, steel Lots of bike related

I, for one, would buy an RBW laser etched water bottle, as long as it
isn't a Sigg. I'll bet a lot of others would, too. I'd also like to
contact you off-list about having your dad etch an item for me.

Home for thanksgiving and I brought the atlantis with me. My brother
(an aluminum and plastic-bike person) who I have been trying to
convince of the virtues of steel and the rivendell-fit-advantages got
to try out the atlantis. He was rather impressed. He took it out for a

I would buy two, even if they were Siggs. I miss the old plastic RBW
bottles and would certainly buy laser etched bottles. Good idea!
