No, Benedict, it's not a rear hanger. It only has one tapped end, and no cable
slot. William wa correct, I feel. It's to mount a reflector. It's nicely
machined, however, and could be used to hack something. I won't toss it. You

When you get this installed, can you post pictures, i'm thinking about
switching from a headset mounted hanger to a fork crown one but i'm
worried about clearance at the crown due to all the other things i
have mounted there.

Great input everybody, it's always good to review the basics every now
and then. 12 hours later and the wheel is still inflated so i think i
got it this time. the pinch and go slow method did work for me, you
have to be patient as it goes on a little bit at a time but it does
work!

I know, this seems like a good way to go for them and their customers
