Once upon a time when I lived in Austin, TX, I found a Raleigh DL-1
abandoned in my front yard. I took it in, amazed at it's alien features
and appalling brakes. I cleaned it and lubed it, and then realized it must
have been stolen. I called the police, and told them the story, described
the bike,
I felt the same way when I started looking for the same size of
Rambouillet. Next thing I know? I'm riding a 68cm Rambouillet.

back adjustment. And the post had a long slot to allow for waay setback
position. In practice I never used it.

The only disadvantage I have found with bars at or above the seat is when I
want to rock the bike while standing up. But as I age I find I sit down,

surely had something to do with the contrast of his appearance on the
bike and off, as the bird, graceful in flight yet so awkward on the
ground. His bike's fit to his proportions ought to be compared to that
