Got out for a nice morning ramble on the Hilsen today with my friend John. Mileage was just short of a 100k. Although there were a few miles on Hwy 30, the majority of the ride was on fairly quiet roads with a 10 mile dirt climb up Dixie Mtn Rd and a screaming descent down Rocky Pt Road. Picture

I have the Midge bars, after staring at a friend's for years. Other than they might swoop out a big too much, I love them. Anyway, padding - on all my handlebars I put Specialized Bar Phat under the tape. I've used the corky Cinelli tape and the Deda Elementi tape. We've got wicked chipseal
