It got a new "hipster" layout, which isn't terrible, but it doesn't (didn't

To clean my brushes I use ammonia. It works like a charm. Not sure how it
would affect paint, but you could dilute it down a bit and try it on an
inconspicuous part of a frame. I don't think it would do much to metal
components.
