Hi friends, or 'kia ora' as people say here in Aotearoa/New Zealand! I

I picked up Scott's 60cm XOXO yesterday. (Thanks again Scott) I'm 6'3, with a
92ish PBH. I've been wanting to build up an all rounder for a while, and this
will be a fun project. Always fun to meet up with another member too, and his
choice of locations (a local Burrito joint) was a bonus.
Tony, I'm 6'1 with a PBH of 91. Our tandem has 26 wheels, with Marathon

tall enough to bring a map into reading range. However, if I had it to do

Marty, Congrats on the XOXO! I saw that listed over on iBOB and had to
restrain myself... easier since I had picked up a '93 XO-3 earlier this
year but still I think that is a sweet bike. Please share the build pics

That's a beautiful bike. And in my size. But I just made a bike purchase
so I'm sworn off for awhile.
Every once in a while those Sequoias pop up on the ebay and I'm sorely

Good luck with the sale!

Great way to say good bye to the old year and welcome in the New Year.
Happy New Year to you.
Regarding Fat bikes. I totally understand the fat bike and do, will desire

Jan,
Agreed on the practical practice side, but I am still curious about the med
hi to hi pressure phenomena.
If I understand correctly, you say that from nominal to very high pressure,
losses in the tire itself decrease. But from nominal to moderately high
pressures, suspension losses increase

I like this story, Liesl. Love to hear the effect beausage is having on

Hmm...you bring up such an interesting topic. Like your Nephew I have
