True, some of the pictures of my orange QuickBeam look red, too. I guess
the decals rubbed off, though. Even my 66cm 'Beam shows its decals down to
that area of the downtube.

I had that happen on an old Trek frame that I had. I took an AVK threaded
insert and kludged the installation of it with a bolt and a stack of
washers. Once installed, it held fine. It looked kind of ugly but you
couldn't see it when the cage was installed anyway.

Yeah, I know these small ones are hard to come by... Especially since they're
not making small ones anymore. I am thinking I will work out a payment plan
with the vet instead of selling the QB if I don't get a decent local offer. I
have at least half the surgery saved up for.

The A719 is a high-end rim not heavy - just not light-weight. The huge
benefit of dynamo lighting makes the front wheel swap an excellent idea
(assuming the bicycle would be ridden at night). The only consideration
for the rear wheel is if the Phil hub is compatible with your current
