Great thread in terms of making me interested in spending more bike money.
Blessing and a curse that the great price and special rbw had on the gripsters
made them quickly out of stock.

Good thing this is a single-color/coat Quickbeam, then.
It looks like RAL 2008 or 2004 to me.

I had one of these set ups on my Sam Hillborne for two years but sold it. I
shouldn't have sold it...stupid, stupid, stupid. I've often thought of
buying a new one but I am now using Sackville panniers in rear with a small
trunk sack up front.

Hey all,
I was pleasantly surprised to see the quote from Jeff Jones in the latest
newsletter. I confess to selling my Hunqapillar for a Jones. I love it.
Loved the Hunq too but the Jones more suits my current interests. I've
often thought that while there's little superficial overlap b/w R

Considering this clamp on handlebar bag. But was wondering:
1. Does the NITTO bag holder hold tight, or rotate down under the weight of
the bag and its contents? What about on bumpy terrain?
2. Does the bag sag, since there is no rack under it?
3. Is it as waterproof as a Carradice Pendle/Barley/

All that remains is a VO seatpost, as pictured. $15.

I don't want to give up any bartop space, so I need decaler for that. I

Och! Harsh! Will the bike shop that packed it take responsibility? I'm not
sure how bike paint works, but can they scan the color and match it that
way? That's pretty standard at paint stores (a different paint and process,
I know. Perhaps that makes a difference?). May you be riding soon!

So I bought that orange Quickbeam that popped here last week and it was damaged
in shipping. This was not due to any fault of the original owner or
mishandling by FedEx but due to poor packing which was done by a shop. In any
case the fork us damaged and so is the lug on the seat tube. I will

I really want to love saddlebags. I love the concept, I've owned many, and
every few years I try again. I even invented a mount that involved a loop
secured with a Seat Sandwich, after bad luck with the SQR.
But for me, saddlebags don't work well.
So now I use a rack and panniers. Not so Engl
