I live in Austin and ride a simpleone (in addition to a couple other bikes) and I know a few other riv riders here in Austin. I know two custom owners that ride brevets a lot, I know a Sam owner who commutes and camps on it and I know someone with a sweet Rambouillet retrofitted with sns coupler

Great couple of bikes. Bummer about the chainguard. Seems like it should be able to bend back into place to at least let you ride until the new one comes in. Kid you not: I watched FedEx driver "roll" a bike box end-over-end into a truck. They don't care at all about the boxes or contents thereof.

Are you mounting the taillight directly on your rear fender? If so, Then I would assume your fenders stay on year round so I would run the wiring inside the rolled edge. If you're mounting on a rear rack or seat post, etc., then external wiring may give you more flexibility, especially if you
