This has been an enjoyable thread! Thanks for putting it up Ryan. My
Rivendell addiction mirrors that of many others on the list. If I had made
the discovery sooner, money spent on less satisfying bikes could have gone
Rivendell's way instead (part of this cyclist's education I guess).

I didn't like the (non carved) C-17 on my Sam. Don't recall if I had
Noodles or Albas on there when I tried, but either would have been around
saddle height.

Five to seven years ago Betty’s seemed slightly common for sale from my

focuses on it notices. When I buy new vehicles for my wife I am always
surprised by how many I notice within my surroundings that I never noticed
