Yep, that's how it works. What you can't do is make a full order for delivery
now with the sweater as a "to be delivered later" part of that order.
Get your pre-order locked in and paid for now, then ad to the cart when the
sweater is ready.

David,
That way that I understand this pre-order, is that I purchased and paid-for
a sweater. A delivery charged was added to my order. If I understand this
process correctly (and I may not!), Riv will contact those who have
pre-ordered when the sweaters arrive. At that point (I believe / hope .

Sean,
How did you do this? The preorder page said specifically to not add
anything else to the order, and instead to fill out a separate order for
additional items (hence triggering 2 shipping charges, instead of zero).
Did I miss something?

Probably too high for this one. I'll take pics but it's fraying near the
zipper and the strap that goes around the stem pulled off long ago but I
still have it. The map case is pristine though! This may be the first

I'll be glad to have a look at it. If you think my price is too high, I'll
be willing to consider something else as well...

Bill,
I have one with real beausage. It's been ridden hard and put away wet but I
have been contemplating selling it as I am going through a revaluate,
consolidate, and cull phase.

That is a NICE looking build! I especially approve of all that mud caked on the
underside of the down tube. I too have my Sam set up off-roadish and with some
black components. It’s great for offroad as long as you don’t load it up to
heavily.
Enjoy!

Was it this one?

Because that doesn't look "smallish" to me! :) Maybe the bar tape is making
it look wider than it actually is.
I got this one and I like it a lot (11" wide, MUSA)

Thanks for that link, but that's too small. I have three different
handlebar bags on-hand that are small like that.

I might be an alternative should you not be able to track down and Brand V.

Hello all! I recently purchased my first Rivendell, the last 55cm Hillborne

willing to part with? Send me a note if so. Thanks!

Riv has offered in the past a line of "vegan" bags with no leather. This
sub-line of bags was called "Brand V" with the classic double-meaning

One of the Brand-V products was a handlebar bag. It's got two velcro loops

“Mix of Roadinni and Clem” sounds very interesting. What do you all think that
would look like? Something like a rim brake Crust Bombora?
