Well, all my bikes have fenders and I've found there is nothing more annoying than a fender that rubs the tire when you go over bumps, etc. I always size them 10mm wider than the tire. So a 43mm tire isn't going to work very well with 45mm fenders unless the tires inflate to much smaller than the
