FWIW, I'm not sure of too many bike part makers who service/supply parts
for things that they sold 12+ years ago.
A number of years ago I had a tandem wheel with one of White's early Daisy
hubs that had an issue -- no dice in getting parts. Small makers, evolving
designs, and time all make
I have a Clem L 52cm and a Susie 56cm and I agree that the Susie would be
more than capable of standing in for the Clem. It would also allow for a
slightly wider tire. The reason I didn't suggest it was that the Susie is
2x the cost of a Clem. This is what makes the Clem so great, a lifetime

FWIW, I have an 87pbh and I happily ride a 58cm Quickbeam. The stem is a
Nitto Technomic that is raised pretty high, but I really like the bike.
I also ride a 60cm Ram.

Great bike. I sent a PM, but I know sometimes those don't come through. I'm
interested but think this might be a size small for me. Can you tell us
what your PBH is, and the saddle height in your photos?
Cheers,

My double Pletscher has one of the Pletscher-specific rubber top plates.
Where it contacts the bottom of the frame I used a folded-over (2-layer)

Thanks again to all for input and replies.
And thanks to Dave S for recommending the frame-specific kickstand plates.
Got a pair, they work great. Part of the trouble with the existing plate
(installed by previous owner or their mechanic) is that it was a modified

The Riv website indicates they have the Susie W Longbolts in Small and

Forget about chainsaw motor, let alone electric bikes!
Rintendo in Osaka, Japan has made a steam-engine powered bike.

I'm skeptical about its cost-efficiency, though.
The website is in Japanese, but I put the description in DeepL Translator,
You'd be buying obsolescence. I have one of these hubs, with about a dozen
years of use on it, and when I tried to get some replacement pawls for it
from Phil recently, as the pawls are starting to lose engagement every so
often and jump, the response was that they don't have the pawls for
