As Ray says the one Riv sells should work, but be aware it's going to
scratch the heck out of your seat lug. Personally I would just keep a hex
key handy for adjusting saddle height when needed.

I’m pretty sure the quick release units Rivendell sells will work.
Try contacting them and ask. They have the bike and the quick release on
hand and they just updated their hours of service so it should be easier to
reach them by phone.

Good to know about the Alex; will archive this. Rather wider and heavier
than I like, and I think I'll prefer to futz with tubeless-i-fying a
non-tubeless rim; so far, so good!

It's not on SF Craigslist at the moment but shows up pretty often. At this
point - with the attention it's getting on Instagram - you might want to
get on the phone with Will or Grant and see if they have the guy's contact
info.

A friend of mine got his fatbike painted by a body shop and it is really
nice. I for one will never again ship a bike to a painter; last (and only)
time I did that I sent my prized machine off and they destroyed the fork
which was a key part of what made the bike special. They did replace the

Alex Adventurer 2 comes in a tubeless, rim brake 26. A bit narrower and
certainly not as nice as a Cliffhanger but wallet friendly and pretty
durable in my experience with the 700c version.

How can I tell the size of the Sam Hillborne frame? I don't see any size on
the paint anywhere, the Riv website doesn't have specs for the size I'm
looking at (60cm--the largest Sam they offer in 2021, apparently). Could be
a 58 or 57 though, not sure.

Hi there.. I'm interested in the small saddle sack... tried messaging you

I totally understand that this is a long shot and I apologize for the cross

I just sank onto the couch after work and saw all the excitement. This is so
wonderful and I am so excited for you, Emily. So, this means Riv has been

Hello!
Does anyone have a solution for a quick release saddle on a Rivendell Susie?
The saddle clamp is integrated with a hex bolt, but I'd like to make it QR
so the saddle can go up and down and shared with people of different
heights at my office easily.
Any ideas?
Thank you!
