The Blahg is back up. Casette uses 7-speed spacing (Grant's words) which should (my words) nominally index with a Shimano 8 shifter and normal matching derailer. But I don't know if the teeth will be indexy twisty, I don't presume Riv is pushing hard to make this thing work with anything other

Sorry to hear about the fender mishap. I'm running 2.1 knobbies under Tanaka 68mm fenders with the PDW safety tabs. I'm curious if anyone's had incidents with the safety tab setup? I caught a bit of stuff in the front wheel a few weeks ago and the tabs released, the wheel didn't lock, and I

It's intended to work with the new RapidRise (low-normal) derailer Grant is working on. But if we have something in a drawer that'll work with the 42t cog I say give it a whirl! On Saturday, August 28, 2021 at 2:54:02 PM UTC-7 Ray Varella wrote: > Thanks Joe, > ….so which derailer will we

Jason, Sorry about your fender incident. As someone else said, those PDW Safety Tabs will help you regain your confidence. I've been using them for about 6 years. Though I haven't gotten a stick or rock caught while riding, I once dropped the front of the bike onto the rear of the front fender

Andrew, resounding yes! MUSA shorts have been one of my favorite Riv garments too. Didn't know there was a version made with mesh pockets. The four pairs I own must be 6-7 years old with (thankfully) solid pockets. Still going strong. Best, Rich in ATL On Friday, August 27, 2021 at 6:23:13 PM

13-42 which will mount on a 8/9/10 hub with a spacer Riv will provide (you would use it with the included spacer most 11-speed hubs offer, too). Intended for friction shifting and will use Riv's own 7-speed chain but an 8 (and probably 9) will work, too. No idexing compatibility was mentioned
