When I lived in the East Bay of SF Bay Area, a popular route for the racey
crowd was along Mt Diablo Blvd in Lafayette. I would take my tricked out
folding Peugeot coaster brake 20-inch bike with a plastic white basket with
appropriate plastic flower to Ace Hardware. I changed every part on the

Yes, I'm (mostly)* being facetious cuz I know there's no way she's going to
ride
I’m definitely in for at least one.
I’m also curious about the V-brakes. The feature of being able to open far
enough to clear a fat tire has me sold.

Matt,
I sent you a private message but there's a chance it's gone to spam as
nobody ever replied to my private messages!
Anyway, let me know if you do or don't receive it.

I would imagine and hope that the point of Leah riding with her group is
for Leah to enjoy herself riding her bike in the company of others ...

Isn't the point of Leah riding with her group to show people you don't need

Oh, and I do want a dynamo setup so I don't have to remember to charge my
lights. I plan to put an order in with Rich on Monday. Does anyone have a
recommendation for front and rear lights?

I appreciated all of the feedback. I think I will start by commuting once a
week as has been suggested and go from there. I'll need a rack and I think
the Rivendell Shiny Rear Rack would be great, when it's back in stock. I
already have a Sackville Backabike Pannier to use which should hold all

No, it was sold and taken apart to be used as part of a dam. Several other
houses may have been sold, taken apart and the materials reused in Mineral
Point. Part of Sinnipee may be underwater, as river levels are higher as a
result of dams downstream. Thanks for the interest.

On Saturday,
I had some bit of hope that these would use an consistent gear progression
of 15-17-20-24 on the 13-34, but no . S-Works does the overly big 15-18
jump along with the 18-21-24 which is unnecessarily close. I often wonder

In 2022, pretty cool to see 7-speed cassettes sell out in less than 12

I'm glad to know about this tool.
I'm wondering about the pros and cons of changing a 26.8 or perhaps 26.6 which
most of my bike are to a 27.2.
Well, I can think of several pros...I just wouldn't want to mess the seat tube
up if there are cons.

+1. Sell your Platypus, Leah. It's not enough. You need a tricked-out
Roadeo with aero wheels and 6" drop between saddle and bar and a 56 X 11

I recall the pleasant feeling of riding my mountain bike long ago, with
those horrible 1990s tires that were the equivalent on pavement of riding

I’m looking for a tall stack of steel spacers, such as those made by Nitto,
