Sweet bike Joe. Great color and design choice. I'm curious, how do you
think this bike differs from the Rosco Platty, aside from big welds vs
lugs?

I can't speak to biking or bike shops in Savannah...but I can't recommend
highly enough Vinny Van Go Go's for pizza. I was in Savannah in 2014 for a
wedding and I still think about the to-go slice I got there. So good.

You could always go with a 64 Clem, although it wouldn't fit your spouse. I
think they have similarly lo00ng front end to the baby rosco. Noticed
there's one for sale for $875+ shipping a few posts down. I don't think you
could go wrong with that as a backup!

Hi everyone — I'm heading to Savannah for a few days in October. I've never
been. We'll be in town for a wedding and pretty busy with wedding stuff but
wanted to check in to see if there is good riding or bike shops worth
checking out. Haven't yet decided if I'm going to bring a bike but could b
Very cool, Collin! I've been contemplating getting a packraft for a few
years now. I was never sure how my 62cm Hunq would fit on it, but seeing
your Appaloosa makes it seem very possible indeed!
Thanks for sharing!

Caveat, I am not a very good bike mechanic & I grew up using friction
shifting. My Clem came to me with the Microshift thumb shifters. The front
shifter of course is friction only. The rear came set up to index (9 speed)
and it has been fine. Better than fine really, but just a little bit klunky
Good stuff Collin. I agree, packrafting is great! I haven't had the
opportunity to do in some years and my setup was never as svelte as yours
appears to be, but I didn't mind that. It was easier living out west where
there were far less damns to contend with or maybe better said that
distance b
That really looks like a fun adventure Collin.

14 years ago in 2008 I started a month long bicycle tour in Sacramento riding
along that path by the American River and on to Folsom and then on east to meet
up with a friend to ride Hwy 50 across Nevada.

Very very nice Joe!
It's great to have a forum to share pics of our bikes, our rides/adventures on
them, upgrades to them and all that goes with all that.
Like minded people get it but most of my family and friends just roll their
eyes when I start talking bikes.
It's part of the joy of it for me
Hi Dave, yes, I’ve run Rock’n’Roads on my 60cm green Quickbeam. I don’t
think there was 6mm on each side at the chainstays, though:

Sort-of Ride Report
Most of my rides during the pandemic were the same couple of loops around
the American river in Sacramento, which does have some great trails and
some not-so-legal singletrack, but gets old if that's all you are doing. I
wasn't often able to (or unwilling) to make the 90 min
