I have 2 sets of Onza spd pedals (with elastomers). Both have developed a
little play. They have cartridge bearings. One set has 9,000.00 miles the
other 3,000..

If you have a sealed bearing object that has developed play IN THE
BEARINGS, and you insist on making the play go away*, then you have to
replace the bearings. It is generally a lot easier to install cartridge
bearings than it is to remove them. Some sealed bearing objects are
designed with n
Pedal clicking is usually in the big bushings or wear in the shaft itself.
You'll note rebuilds kits include these two items, plus the bearings.

The ride from Millenium Park sounds like the route I've taken several
times to and from Chicago, using Indiana Dunes as one of the overnights.
It would be a good ride, you could take Amtrak to Chicago and return on
Amtrak from New Buffalo.

I hate to throw a wet blanket on this idea, but wasn't there some
discussion on this forum a while back about taking bikes on Amtrak, which
trains allow them and which ones don't, where and how they store the bikes,
etc? Not sure if that was ever resolved for this route. Has anyone done

I have used the A520 on several single bikes and on a tandem for many
issue-free miles. Good foot support, they work well, and, IMHO, fit the Riv
aesthetic as well as aclipless pedal can They are also available used in
good shape for not much money, which is a bonus.

I managed to get my hands and build up the recent VO Rando Redux last year
and built it up as a racier bay-area hill climber bike, and it served that
role perfectly! However, I got a good deal on a Ritchey Road Logic (what I
originally wanted) and immediately failed my New Year’s resolution,
