That is right Jim. I own a 57 and this appears to be one from the
photographs.

Just wanted to give an initial review of these tires. I've had them on
my Bleriot for about a week now. I ride about 90% gravel and 10% road.
I could not be happier with how these tires perform. They roll smooth
and quick just like the other GB tires. I was a little concerned with
the tread
Can't speak to the hetre, but as someone who rides gravel on almost a
daily basis I can vouch for the fatty rumpkins. I found them more
stable than both the cypress and pari-moto. The rumpkins are
definitely more sluggish on pavement... Trade offs, trad offs! I just
picked up some Lierres to see
Selling a used pair of Pari-Motos. Probably around ~600 miles on
these. 100 of them were ridden on my Bleriot. I received them in a
trade to give them a try. These tires are
sublime on paved roads, but I live on gravel roads. Don't get me wrong
they are completely usable on gravel, but i'd rather

It is possible to get a decent fenderline on your 650b, but not
perfect. I finally picked up some VO zepplin fenders which have a
noticeably better line for my bleriot.

Windy as usual out here in the prairies of western Minnesota. Average
wind speed for this time of year is 15mph with gusts of 27mph. Not
many hills in my immediate area but plenty of wind to fight.

I've been using the nitto top rack for years. It works well for
loafers and as a saddlebag support for my saddle sack large. If you
are thinking about panniers I wouldn't recommend it.

Justin,
I'm running vo 52 zepplin fenders on my bleriot with sheldon fender

fender up flush to the bottom of the fork, the angle of the fork
caused the front of the fender to dig into the tire. I needed to use

Hey Folks,
I was riding my Bleriot down the gravel road to work today and thought
about how it might be nice to try a larger size tire. Throwing this
out there to see if anyone is interested in trading a pair of Hetres
for my Cypres. The tires have low mileage on them...maybe 200 miles?

Well, metal fenders look better, work better and weigh less. Plastic
fenders are cheaper and easier to remove. Anything else?
I'd add durability to the chromoplastic side.

I'm seriously considering picking up a BarSack for my Bleriot. I
searched the archives and couldn't find much in the way of reviews on
this bag set-up with the NITTO F-15 support. Anyone had this bag for a
while and able to comment on any effect on handling, on/off
convenience, in-ride use, etc.?
Thanks for responding Thomas! I'm afraid I have no experience with the
slicker sack, but your info was very helpful.

I've ridden miles of crushed limestone rail trails in WI on my 650b
Grand Bois Cypres (32mm) and my wife was on Pasela TGs 700x37 I
believe, with no complaints from either of us. I now live in western

I have both a LHT and a Bleriot. With stock components the LHT is
obviously heavier when lifting it. My

I know the nitto F-15 still isn't in stock. However, it is my

Can any one speak to the front end behavior with the higher load? I'm

Good advice so far. I ride a bleriot with noodles and don't have the
experience you are describing. What tires are you using? CLDVs seemed
a little squirrely in comparison to the GB Cypres I ride now.

Not even sure what to say about this auction. It isn't mine of course.
I'm having a hard time believing anyone will want this. Maybe i'm
wrong.
