Patrick,
Have you looked into setting up one of your 559/571 bikes with tubular
tires similar to how you have the Ram set up? That could be a way to get
the plush construction you want out of a mythic 28mm 571 ERD tire.
Continental makes the Sprinter 250 in a 650c analog size and it has a

I'll chime in:
54cm Quickbeam
170mm cranks 42t with a chainguard
Albatross
Suzue Free/Free wheelset
B17
Mini Front/ wald/ shopsack
Big Back Rack/ canvas panniers
Planet Bike fenders
700x32mm Wire Bead Paselas
bungee chords, two tubes, a few tools

Hey gang,
I bought a road standard from another list member in 2008. It was stolen
from my garage in 2011. This week it appeared and was sold on Ebay. I
have, since Tuesday, spent countless hours on the phone with ebay (empty
promises and no help), SFPD, and San Jose Police in order to go
The two racks and the fenders are spoken for. The tires are still
available.
Thanks.

I have two bike frames that are slightly taller than I want to ride right
now. A blue Trek 510 that swallows up 700x35c tires with ease and a 1993
red RB-1 with the sloping crown fork. Both are 56cm models. The frames
have plenty of cosmetic beausage but are in excellent condition otherwise.

I don't think they will stock the GR is a way to have a better tire. From a
retail perspective it makes sense to try new things, rotate stock, and
offer additional products to compliment existing ones. Rivendell has an
existing business relationship with Soma. To my knowledge RBW has never

I was just thinking about the fact that Rivendell has a very successful
track record with regard to new ideas and new products. I trust whatever
they decide to bring in. 85-90% of the things Rivendell stocks don't fit
into my lifestyle or bikestyle but I can recommend them without reservation.
