Hi, John-
The brake arms should just transfer from the normal mounting plate with
pivot posts to a set of brazed on posts. I have not done it with Weinmanns
but did the same thing with Mafac Competitions without problem. I have 36
mm Honjo alloy fenders on the bike and there is another 7 mm of
Chad-
The bike looks lovely and he Brooks Cambium seems so right for the style.
Regarding the touch-up, I would advise clearcoat afterwards. All auto
touch-up sticks come with clear coat and you will get colour change and
oxidation without. Hard to think of that lovely paint job getting
