These fires will become more and more common. Although there was some snow
at the end of the winter this year, overall, Colorado had
very disappointing snow levels this year (especially considering how
horrible the last two years were). We already had a fire in Evergreen and

Him MIchael,
I've used the large and medium on a Nitto front rack and the medium is more
secure that the large on the narrow rack, but it was never too big of a
deal either way. I then put the large on a VO Porteur rack. The platform
of the rack is ideal for holding the large Wald and is
Take it as a small blessing that now you can lock your beloved Riv up
without worrying about keeping it pristine. Rivs need some blemishes to
counterbalance their beauty to make them complete.

Alta Handlebar Pack. I used P clips for
the rack. The bag is standard height. This works for me because I have
STI and can't read the map case without my glasses.
The Ram is a great bike.

Hello everyone,
I was hoping someone in the group could give me a recommendation on a tall
handlebar bag and decaleur that will work on a frame this large (64cm). My
handlebar is high above the nitto front rack and I'm not sure if there is a
decaleur that will reach down low enough to connect
Hi everyone,
I went to check the bike out last weekend (I live in Denver) and I wanted
to let everyone know that if you are looking for an Atlantis you shouldn't
hesitate to pull the trigger on this one. The parts are all top of the
line and the bike felt great to ride. My wife sort of shut
Hi John,
I have a Rambouillet with Tektro Silvers and a 1988 Trek 520 Reynolds 531
with Shimano cantis. The cantis have better stopping power than the
Silvers, however the Silvers are not bad.
Overall I prefer cantis for a few reasons. Stopping power is better. I
also think they look
Hi everyone,
My apologies if this has been covered before (a forum search didn't turn up
an answer) but could anyone tell me if I should use a 110 or 113 (or
something else) length bottom bracket for the Rambouillet-Sugino XD2 triple
combination? Thanks

Hi Michael,
Do you think the long reach racers would have too long brake reach to work
with a Ram? My friend has a used set he wants to sell me but I saw the
brake reach for those are 57mm. I think it will be very close. Any
thoughts? Thanks

Hello Tim,
As I've gotten older I've definitely slowed down. I feel as fit as I did 5
to 10 years ago yet I don't feel the need to push it as I once did. I get
to work 5 minutes later but smelling better and in one piece. I cringe
thinking of the risks I used to take in traffic. I feel
Hi Ryan,
I have a Blue Ram and after switching to Tektro 559s I use the SKS
longboards with Panaracer Pasela 35mm tires. The front has very tight
clearance but I got it to work. I also use the Sheldon fender nuts and I
think that helps by moving the fender back a few centimeters.

Hi Rob,
I see you wrote that shellac cleans up with alcohol. I recently shellaced
some handlebar tape and got some splatter on the paint job of a blue
Rambouillet. Have you (or any other members) had any luck removing shellac
from paint jobs while not harming the paint itself? Thanks
Jeff
+1 on the Rambouillet. In addition to what you wrote I love the raspberry
color at the top and bottom. I also like the simple bold look of the
Bombadil badge.

Hi,
Do you know if the geometry of this Bombadil is the same as the current
frames on their website? Also, could you tell me your PBH and height
please? Thanks
