I am also running a boxcar on Toscos with good results. I ran a EA90 before and it was pretty noodly. Many people have had issues with Bosco flex. They make an excellent lever. For quill stems a dirt drop stem may help as mentioned above or get a cool sling shot stem for extra style points.
