Saturday afternoon after 4 pm should be fine. We can meet somewhere
and go for an hour ride or so. Perhaps we can meet at Shoreline Park,
but I'm really open to anywhere else.
Next Saturday will also work. On Sunday I'm traveling to Chicago.

This is great information! Any of those areas would be great to visit.
To start getting things "real" I'm proposing the weekend of September 24 -
25 for consideration. Looking closely at my calendar, it's really the only
weekend when I'm entirely free and it would be perfect for me. The wee
Half Moon Bay, Brighton Beach and Portola State Park all have
hiker-biker areas. You don't have to reserve, and they don't turn any
cyclist away. I just did an S26O at Portola last night. My riding
partner and I were happy to learn that they've repaired the bridge to
the Old Haul Road, so we didn't

I'll be up for an S24O come September, as I'll be traveling on
business and family vacation most of August. And, as long as riding
distance and average speed isn't planned to be excessive... :-)
I'm going slow and progressing even slower in order not to overdo it
and get burned as has happen
My wife and I are taking our 21 months old his first camping trip this
weekend. This got me thinking, anyone here in Bay Area want to get
together for a S240 trip?
There are plenty of places to do it, just saying it out loud and
perhaps we can have a few folks going together.
