This is super! I have some Albastaches I've been sort of avoiding wrapping for a while 'cause I'm generally terrible at it. I'm going to try this. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group. To unsubscribe from this group and stop

Thanks Ted! Makes perfect sense. I'm not riding drop bars now, but if I ever switch back, I'll give this a try. René On Wed, Jan 3, 2018 at 5:08 PM, RonaTD wrote: > René asked: > > Just out of curiosity, when wrapping the tape this way, how do you hold > both ends under

Both! I wrap from the end to the brake lever and from the stem to the brake lever. No twine or tucking necessary. Works especially well if doing a weave. Ted Durant Milwaukee WI USA -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group. To

Agreed regarding thick cork tape not playing nice with the tuck and plug method. But sounds like Rivet has sized their plug specifically to allow this so like Philip suggested I’d give it go with their recommended method first and see how it works for you. One thing I found for direction of

I’d follow their directions and see how it goes. I wrap end-to-stem, inward toward the bike (I think - I did it today, but I always have to look at the bike to make sure). For a while I did the trick where you wrap ends-to-levers, and stem-to-levers, but the only advantage was no “finish” tape

Back in the nearly forgotten days of my youth I recall wrapping bar tape from the stem to towards the end, tucking a bit in the end and finishing with a bar plug. But for years now (since I started using cork) I've been wrapping the other direction and finishing with tape or twine. I figure the
