Rick at D&D Cycles paints some of the Rivendells and does a great job.
He's in San Lorenzo.
While Internationals are nice... I love those Capella lugs on the Comp's.

Yep, the MKII was what I could afford back then. I found the original
receipt last year, got mine for $170. I know about Cyclart, but wanted to
stay local.
Attached is a pic of my Super Course MKII the day before my first trip down
the California coast:

Great minds think alike. I have already perused some of the bike porn at
flickr, but Pudge found a few that I hadn't. The only thing for sure is
that I must, must, *must* have one of those Jo Routens style pure front
racks. A nice canvas and leather bag will sit on it, eventually, maker TBD.

If you haven't already, check out what JP Weigle has done to a update a few
classic Raleighs over the years. Here's his "Intercourse" as just one
example.

I agree with the others that it looks pretty nice as is... a little
beausage doesn't hurt. What about Cyclart ? Greg Reichle is the fellow's
name, I think. Looks like they have different pricing levels of
restoration depending on what you plan to do with the bike. See
http://www.cyclart.com/ne
That is a beauty, enjoy the build process I imagine once its done you will
have miles of smiles

Peter,
I have a medical condition. It's malignant. It's called engineeritis, I
can't leave well enough alone.
David,
Oh, I thought this was the Rivendale site, on second look this is the RONA
site (yes, I have the t-shirt). BTW, I always misspell it when typing the
URL, but Google corrects me. T
Congrats! I was watching that frame - didn't intend to buy it though. It
should build up into something lovely!

Internationals are GREAT bikes. Probably the only vintage bike I would go
out of my way to get.
BTW, I can't see original pics either, but can see the second posting in
Chrome.
And where is this Rivendale of which you speak :-)

Why paint it? It looks great like it is. I had an international for years
and loved it I still regret selling it.

Patrick,
Not sure why it's not showing, it does for me. I tried on a different
computer in case it was using a local copy. Permissions?

Congrats! The picture didn't show, but you're sure to have a grand time
setting it up, then every lane you ride will have a bit of memory lane.
