I have a Schmidt hub on my Hunqapillar and an SP on my Atlantis. Both power an Edelux II and a tail light perfectly. The Schmidt is probably a better-quality build, but for me there isn't enough difference to justify the extra cost. I also prefer the SP connector over the two pronged

My only experience is with the Schmidt SON hub, but I absolutely love it. I feel almost no drag when I use it, and it still produces a nice bright light when I'm crawling uphill at 8 mph. I'm not sure about the Shutter's performance at those speeds. On Thursday, September 28, 2017 at 11:52:21

I used to feel vibrations in the noodle bars from the edelouxewidebody hub at 18+mph but since changing to Lizard Skins bartape I don't feel it anymore. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group. To unsubscribe from this group and

I love the dyno hub and light I chose for my Sam and I also think it’s a game changer. Someday I will add the rear light. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group. To unsubscribe from this group and stop receiving emails from it,

First, I made the change to dynamo lighting a couple of years ago and it has been a complete game changer. I think you'll love it. I now have 2 sp hubbed wheels and love them. Never tried the Schmidt, but I can't imagine a wild advantage. And finally, I'd put in a plug for the sinewave beacon.

Mine (edeluxe ii hanging/widebody hub) is located on my M18 rack bolted to front eyelet. So it is a little in front and to left of tire, but clears tire. It has a balanced wide beam that lights up the entire width of a two lane street. Width of beam equal on both sides. No problem with that.

The mounting location of the light makes a big difference in beam pattern. Obviously, the higher the mounting location, the wider the beam. But the wider beam means you can see more artifacts. A low-mounted light will not throw the beam as far, but it will look smoother with less artifacts. I

I like the Schmidt hub. Maybe I'm just dumb today but I can't find it on the Riv site. Only shutter. I think the Schmidt has a great track record, and they may have a bit less drag, but you'd have to decide if that's worth the extra money to you. I would recommend the Luxos U for the phone
