I DID get out to enjoy a New Years Day ride. I rode solo, and didn't have
views quite like San Francisco or Mt Ranier, but I did take advantage of
the local trails up and down the beautiful Delaware River. Here are a few

Proposed route for tomorrows ride. Nice hard climb on dirt. Route open
to suggestions I really want to ride up to Green Ranch to check it out but

Though I think that arrival times for trains are like 9:17, 9:37, 9:57

curry canyon roads afterward, then climb back up to the southgate rd.
it's been dry a few days so it might just work out. shell ridge was an
impassable mess a couple days ago (crown-clogging, get-a-stick mud).

Lime Ridge was quite rideable yesterday, with a few muddy spots. After
another day of sun today, trail conditions should be perfect tomorrow.
Currently 47F in Walnut Creek and 34F up on Diablo, so you may want to
bring a jacket and gloves for the ride down.
