I've used the Groody Brothers for a frame powder coating project several
years ago. They do very nice work. I have no financial or business

morning. They offer the rustproofing service for $30, which includes
materials and labor.
You could speak with them before making your decision. Let us know how your
bike comes out. A picture tells a thousand stories.

Be careful shooting into vent holes-sonetimes blows back out at you.
At minimum remove wheels and cover brake calipers/pads so you don’t have to
waste time deep cleaning the frame saver off the rims and replacing pads after.

If you do the application yourself, assemble everything you will need
before starting. Buy a small blanket to work on. Work in an uncluttered,

I've used Frame Saver in both fully built bicycles and, on a few occasions,
I've used J.P. Weigle's Frame Saver on bare frame sets. Also, I've had a
couple of bikes built up at bike shops with the Frame Saver treatment
