Leather isn't really the best mate
Nice build! I'm a huge fan of the babyshoe pass on my hunqapillar,
fantastic tires.
What tires was the Jones 29+ running (more than anything curious if they
were mtn bike tires or road tires).
Also, which handlebars are those and how do you like them?

Good looking build, nicely appointed. I like that harlequin tape job,
subtle and a surprise. I also dig that backdrop in the second photo.
Thanks for the Compass review. I have extra lights in 32mm and the Rat
Trap. I have some miles on the 32s, but not much on the Rat Traps. Love
them both, bu

I run the extra light version of the Barlow Pass on my Sam mounted on Grand
Bois rims. One puncture early on due to a glass shard and several due to goat
heads. Now running Mr. Tuffy's liners with no discernible impact on the ride
quality. Have survived half a dozen goat heads at one time in
Yes, they are Velocity Dyad rims. I found mounting them very easy. I didn't
need tire levers, just rolled on with a little grunt and both thumbs.
Definitely far from the most difficult tire I've mounted.
I've had challenges mounting tires to Velocity Deep-V rims, but the tires
were 23-35mm roa
