They have discontinued the regular Dureme, but still manufacture a tandem
version in 700x40c. Basically a double carcass tire ! Quite a bit heavier
than the standard tire.
Why discontinued ? who knows ! It was a short lived tire. It was not
a replacement for the XR tire but after that
I think the RBW site mentioned something about them going out of
production. RBW has the 700x50 Marathon Greenguards in stock.
Schwalbe has released the new Marathon Deluxe which seems similar to the
Dureme.

You might be able to get Duremes through this
They are out of production. Grant recommends the Big Ben as the next
closest thing for a more agressivish tread and still fairly hearty
protection. That's my plan for my next round of tires when my current set
are approaching the end of their life.
