Patrick, I had no troubles with 36mm Honjo fenders over Parigis.

I am running Cypress 30mm and you can see the front fender is just a bit
tight with SKS 40mm.

I have those same Kojaks on my 60 cm Ram with VO Hammered fenders. Love
these tires, but I have dreams of replacing them with Compass Stampede Pass

On Sun,
Bo,
My Ram is a 58 and I like it setup with Schwalbe Supreme 700x32 SKS P45
fenders.https://www.flickr.com/photos/desert-lake/8396464753/
SKS p45 with Schwalbe Delta Cruiser 700x37(35c) on Mavic Open Pros (narrow
rim 15 inner width and 19.6 outer width) worked for a while, but

(In fact, I've got a pair of 45 mm Longboards waiting for next rainy
season.)
I guess there were slight design differences among Rams; I'm glad I
Currently I have a set of Continental Gatorskins, labeled 32 in width but
measure 29mm, on Velocity Synergy rims on my Rambouillet with hammered

The Ram brochures advertised 32 mm tires with fenders and I remember GP
writing that Jack Brown's will not fit with fenders. I also remember one
poster who was able to rig the fenders to make it work. With hongo fenders
my Ram maxis out at 30 mm actual and I run Grand Bois Cerf at 29MM. I
I've got a blue ram and 32 paselas fit easily with sks fenders (45mm I
think)

I have 33.3 green Jack Browns with 45 Velo orange stainless fenders on my 64
ram. Very tight and took a lot of wrestling plus a hacksaw to the darima bolt
but works. The new 2 clamp vo's rattle much less than the older single clamp
design. If I had a do-over I would try the 50mm Berthouds.
Two other considerations I haven't seen mentioned, that you might already
be aware of:
- Toe clip overlap is likely to be pretty severe, if you actually manage
to fit fenders over anything bigger than a 28. I have SKS fenders and
Roughy Toughies on my 60cm Ram, but find that I need to snug
Also, 35 mm (ie, too narrow) SKS's fit fine over 30 mm (actual) Parigi
Roubaix. Wider fenders would allow more clearance.

Green Ramb, SKS fenders, 45mm
700x32 Paselas (actual width 31mm) and 700x32 Marathon Supremes (actual width
30mm) each provide reasonable clearance.

I think plain old 28 Paselas would be great for winter.

Paselas. Great tire, reasonably priced. You won't be sad if you go with
them. --Beth in PDX
