I recently installed Mark's Rack with Wald Basket on front of my AHH.
The routing of the bar end shifter cables around the basket is a

I would chime in support of Patrick's observations. It certainly does
depend on how long your commute is, and how much you carry. 1500 cc

Hi,
You are on the right track of putting a rear Nitto Top rack and a wire
basket. Tie the wire basket with plastic tie-wraps and your set-up will be
as stable as it can be. I had that set-up with my Wilbury

I was commuting on my 61cm Bleriot with a medium sized messenger bag secured
to the front rack, which handled really nice, but my commute is bi-modal.
Securing and removing the bag got to be a hassle.

than w/ a saddle bag. I usually throw my Carradice Junior (read
