Thankful to Riv/Grant;
1. Just Ride and Eat Bacon... Both changed my life for the better.
2. This community, it's my favorite semi-virtual group.

The ineffable Rivendell signature ride: stable, but no sluggishness or
dartiness in the turn, and seamless transition.
Grant's saddle and bar setup advice: move saddle lower and back, and bar
higher and back. Works for me.

I'm thankful for Grant/Riv teaching me about leather saddles and riding without
clingy Lycra padded shorts. A Brooks B17, wool underwear and baggy MUSA

how versatile it is, and attractive, and comfortable to ride.

I’m thankful for Grant’s aphorism “Just Ride”. It has provided me with a
perspective on cycling that has made it more enjoyable than ever. Rather than
being just an activity for exercise, cycling has evolved into an integral part
of my life and lifestyle. Thanks, Grant!

Regarding the safety triangles, they are also about the closest thing to a Riv
flag or identifier outside of an actual Rivendell bicycle. When you see one on
a bike, there is a 69.8% chance the owner is a fan of Rivendell.
