Thank you all, I ended up with the Deore Vs over the Alivo for one reason and one reason only, they have cartridge brake shoes so being able to upgrade shoes without needing to fiddle with any adjustments made it an easy choice. If they hadn’t been available I would have gone with the Alivos

RBW recommended M730 for the Appaloosa they recently built for me. I have a 55 mm slick tires with SKS B65 fenders and the brakes clear fine in both front and back. They are also priced pretty well at ~$25 per wheel (RBW doesn't sell them as separate parts but you can easily find them on other
