You cannot run a function call like rnorm(10).
You you put
res<-rnorm(10)
in a cell, run that cell, and then, in another cell do
Get R Value and enter res in the dialog.
Alternatively, you could use
RApply("rnorm";10)
as a cell formula

I downloaded (release 15-10-2008.zip file), and tried as you suggested and I am
sure I did exactly what you said. Install the 4 files via the Tools ->
extensions manager...
