It is probably best to uninstall everything.
The Control Panel item
Add or Remove Programs should have an item
R/Scilab (D)COM server and RExcel1.75 (or similar)
This should allow you to uninstall.

I have just installed the latest version of RExcel as a package from CRAN using
windows XP with Excel 2007 and R2.6.1.
Installation seemed to work fine and all the demos included in the package
worked correctly.
However, I am having trouble changing the server configuration from fo
