Hi Ben I have tried to run Sketchup under wine in Ubuntu but the work area of the screen remains black. If I need to I shimmy over to the mrs laptop and use that. I have run XP as a guest in virtual box so I can use google but again it slows up and glitches due to the heavy load. regards Dave O
