No one has made a successful DIY marker for our hobby. It's cheaper in the
long run to buy a commercial marker. Do yourself a favor and forget about
DIY markers.

Steve, when do you play (nights, weekends?). I have been on a week now and just
picked up a KV and am grind to a Hummel (the Grille is fun but I liked the
StormPanzer a little more).

Scooter controllers are controlled by a standard 5K potentiometer. It would
be easy enough to fabricate some form of connection between a servo and the

Been playing a LOT this past weekend and managed to move up into a fully
outfitted Hummel SPG and an upgunned VK3601 medium tank. I love the Hummel's
speed and turning, though wish it had a little more knockout power against the
Lowes and other upper tier tanks.

You could wire a scooter ESC in front of the Tri-Pact controller. This
would provide the same throttle function to both motors. You could set the
controller manually (to fine tune the vehicle speed) or use a servo to allow
adjustment remotely. Not sure how the cycling of the Tri-Pact controll
I'm looking for the same chain that Will Montgomery used on T017.
