I disagree. Although in real combat the Cromwell's boxy design wouldn't
have deflected shells as easily, in paintball combat it doesn't matter
much, right? Am I right, also, in thinking that it's easier to make a boxy
design, easier when using welded steel
Thanks guys. LOL. And Steve, just so you know, I was planning on building a
Cromwell even before I saw yours on the list. Mine might have a 75mm gun
rather than a 90mm one. I'm losing support at home because I switched
projects, but I can probably do this independently if needed. I
just realized
Um... if I had my tank finished, what would I call it? I should have a name
to paint on it. Just curious, any suggestions? Mr. Source of Steve's
Irritation? Terror of Tyng?

You don't want to do a Cromwell! That's one but ugly tank... You'll be
the source of derision till the end of time.
Function does follow form after all. You need to do a nice curvy,
streamlined design for your first tank.
Steve There Can Only Be One Tyng ;)

He could always do a Cavalier, Centaur, Charioteer or, if he has an extra
wheel per side, a Challenger or Avenger . . .

I like how the Cromwell looks and how some variants performed in combat. I
have plans from thedecoy.org for a 1:6 Cromwell. I don't plan to change my
mind. And besides, I could probably convert it into a Comet or Centaur...?

Steve was trying to deter you from another Cromwell because he wants to
have the only one...LOL.

Oh, and about the roller chain and rust... thank you, the rust will
probably be fine and actually look kind of cool, and as for the roller
chain: I've seen it done, I already have a bunch, and it's not well lubed
at all in the first place. I just need to buy a couple sprockets and I
