When I run:
python setup.py install --prefix=/usr/local/rdiff
--librsync-dir=/usr/local/rdiff

commits in CVS HEAD since 1.1.9 into Fink's and MacPorts' rdiff-backup
and rdiff-backup-devel packages, respectively.

Also, directories don't scale too well with that many files in it. On Linux,
you can use the dir_index option when you build the filesystem.

All of my backups are using --null-separator, could that be the cause of the
problem.
Also, it would be nice if you could use the simply time formats for --begin-time
and --end-time, such as 4D, etc.

On the other hand, I did run into that KeyError bug in 1.1.3 which prevented a
backup from working and the Mac OS X issues, so it hasn't been un-serious. I
didn't vote for that section.

Trying to backup an 10.3 OS X box to a Ubuntu Linux box (both running
rdiff-backup 1.1.1) I get the attached error. If I supply the --no-carbonfile

The next rdiff-backup release may want to special case this.
Does 10.4 have lchown?
