Nick didn't specify screw diameter, but assuming #10-32: Try #96024A310 from McMaster-Carr (www.mcmaster.com) These cut threads into aluminum pretty well. I also use stainless external star washers for the ground lug task: #98438A230, same source. One washer between lug and solar module frame

Hi All - Note that there is a difference between self tapping and thread forming screws. Self tapping screws are not a good choice for bonding. In my opinion, thread forming screws are also a marginal choice unless used with a nut and star washer on the back side. All it takes is just a little

Getting their DIN rail combiner box listed for AC is exactly what we need. I'm not sure, but you might be able to snap the venerable QOU in. Imagine being able to DIN rail mount bypass switches, separate breakers for in/out, jump them together with a buss bar (or not), all in one box

This brings up a question I had about DIN rails. I've already tried to mount CBI breakers into a XW and they don't fit. Not the holes but the actual DIN rail appears to be a different size, just a little bit from the CBI breakers. I can mount the QOU onto a CBI DIN rail, but not the other
