Hi Ron, Its a real bitch to walk someone through the XW control panel. But I'm guessing that they added something recently , say an Air conditioner? Default settings are 60 amps, which would put the genny under a world of hurt. Another thought. Is the generator in a shed or open? ie good airf

Ron, If your client wants to keep the Onan, Flight Systems can rebuild the board for a small fee. I have used them for other generator controllers and they are very reasonable. On Thu, Aug 16, 2012 at 6:30 PM, Ron @ earthRight Solar < solarea...@solareagle.com> wrote: > Hi Wrenches, > > I have a

Hi Jay, Thanks for the suggestions. I'm not big on generators or on Xantrex so may be missing something. It's possible the load on the generator is too high, it's a young family and use lots of power. There is no grid so I'm guessing you mean connected to the wrong input on the XW? So if they c

Hi ron, Interesting problem. The XW-AGS is a dry contact system so should be no voltage there, and since that "worked" for years, seems unlikely. Only thoughts at this point are. 1. load on genny is too high. 2. generator is connected to the Grid input and it trying to sell back. 3. any new

We use the EcoFasten Green Flashing with the standard Unirac L foot that has the oval hole so you get some rail adjustment. You have to be sure to use the Green Flashing compression plate between the flashing and the L foot. >From what I've experienced with flashing you're going to have to cut
