the gennie is a rotating source, so the waveform is naturally true sine,

I have used a 12v adapter plugged into the 120 AC from the generator to
the low voltage dc connection on the Magnum AGS unit to take care of the
negative continuity problem. Then a wireless connection of the two wire
start should work.
